The Tang Palace Banquet project also brings iqipa from behind the scenes to the front stage. As the chairman of iqipa, Mrs Zhang Yihong was invited by the Brand Meeting Room to be interviewed on the spot and chat smoothly about iqipa brand.

Host: Under what circumstances was the iqipa established at that time?

Mrs Zhang : The parent company of iqipa is Zhengzhou Hongsam Digital Science and Technology Co., Ltd. Hongsam produces inkjet inks. It has developed from paper, studio, art reproduction and other applications to textile applications, digital printing and cloth printing. However, how to apply it on cloth and what is the application scenario? As a market leader, we want to set up a digital printing application base to print textiles with Hongsam inks, so that downstream application manufacturers can be present on the scene. This is the original intention of the iqipa brand establishment. Because of its environmental protection, personalized customization, rich color and strong expressive force, it has gradually emerged in the field of cultural creation in Henan Province.

Host: Mrs Zhang has been in the printing industry for 30 years. I heard that your major in university is dyeing and finishing. What kind of major is it?

Mrs Zhang: The most vivid show of dyeing and finishing is the scene in the television work "Big Dyeing Room". Monochrome dyeing is to dip the cloth into the dye vat, then wash the cloth to remove the floating color, and then dry it. It could produce waste water in the process of washing, and the remaining dyes in the dye vat will also pollute the environment. The original printing and dyeing factories were all near rivers, lakes and seas because of the convenience of water use and drainage. Dyeing color process should make plate first, then printing. It is a long process with slow delivery time and much waste water, which means serious pollution. My husband and I were classmates, and we both studied dyeing and finishing. After graduation, we were also assigned to a printing and dyeing factory. Later, we worked in a large printing and dyeing group in Guangdong. Feeling the high pollution in the printing and dyeing industry, we have started thinking about how to improve it. Later, we returned to our hometown of Henan and founded Hongsam Digital Company and start producing ink. First we printed on ordinary paper, next applied to wedding photo studios, then applied to cloth and textiles, and now began to apply in the field of printing and publishing.

Host: Hongsam is the first company listed in National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) in China inkjet industry (stock code: 430616). Mrs Zhang and your husband have also worked hard in the printing and dyeing industry for 30 years. What is the biggest change in this industry?

Mrs Zhang: The biggest change in the printing and dyeing industry is personalization and color enrichment. Once people wear monotoned black, white and gray colors, with fewer colorful clothes. Nowadays the clothes are much more colorful. The old style is monotonous, but now people pursue personality and fashion. The duty of digital printing is to fulfill people’s desire of beauty, personalization and a better life, so that people would love iqipa, love life.

Host: Hongsam and iqipa are both the companies that have social sense of responsibility very much. In the future development process, what is the vision and social mission of the enterprise?

Mrs Zhang: Printing and dyeing is our profession, and I love my profession. Digital printing is the process of creating beauty, and I love our "iqipa". Cultural creation is the cause of putting cultural soul into works and bringing culture to thousands of families, which is also my interest. It is a very happy cause to be able to do what you like in your own professional field, to spread the Central Plains culture and to spread the Chinese culture. We have changed the imaging industry, for the original silver salt washing is replaced by digital printing; we are now changing the printing and dyeing industry, for digital printing has been widely used by printing and dyeing enterprises; we also want to change the printing industry, digital printing instead of traditional printing, no VOCs generate, safety and environmental protection. Green mountains and green waters are our wishes, and it is our wish to meet people's needs for a better life.

In 2001, she founded Hongsam, a national leading enterprise in the inkjet industry.
